Volunteering at St. Cross
At St Cross we value the contribution parent helpers and other members of the school community can make to enhance the learning opportunities for our children, as well as the support they can give to enhancing the environment. We appreciate that some school activities could not take place without the support of parents.
There are many ways in which you can offer support and help within the school. This could be reading with a small group of children, supporting on school trips or helping in the library. Volunteers with a special skill, which they could share with the children on a less frequent basis are also welcome.
St Cross is committed to the safeguarding of pupils. All regular volunteers are required to have a DBS check, sign a code of conduct and will receive an induction on behaviour expectations and safeguarding arrangements. This is to ensure the safety of all the children in our school and build consistent and professional relationships with all members of our school community.
If you are interested in volunteering to work with the children of St Cross, please contact the school office. Thank you.
