“Together we grow in God’s love”

Science Club

Our Science Club offers hands-on learning experiences week on week. We aim to encourage the use of scientific skills and vocabulary through discussion and investigations.

The investigations planned provide ‘wow’ moments which we hope lead to further enquiry.

Take a look at some of the photographs in our science club gallery of the science experiments carried out so far.

Quotes from our science club members

From Eva:

“I have learnt lots of new things and thoroughly enjoyed making crystals.”

From Millie:

"Science club is great and you learn lots of new things.  I really enjoyed doing the crystal experiment and the volcano experiment as these were very exciting.  Science club is great you should try it!'

From Emma:

“I think Science club was very interesting. I like doing all the experiments, particularly making the crystals, it was fun! I recommend going to it!”

From Anna:

"Science Club is great! My favourite experiments (I can't choose just one!) were making crystals and making a volcano. I feel like I have a totally different view of science now. When we threw paper balls, I learnt that even that was science!"
