MFL PLUS PROGRAMME (French & Italian)

Learn Italian and French in the Mornings

Since 2010 the Government  requires that all primary school children in the Years 3-6 are taught a modern foreign language. The benefits of learning a second language are infinite. At St Cross we offer all our children the opportunity to learn another language through our MFL Morning Language sessions. This supports and consolidates the learning that happens in the classroom, whilst also giving our younger pupils the opportunity to take part .  The MFL Plus programme runs daily from 8-8.40am. The programme is very popular with the children and ensures that learning a foreign language is fun.

Children are admitted from Reception to Year 6 and are grouped according to their year group and ability. It has been a huge success already and has proved to be very popular amongst the children.

Should you wish to enrol your child onto the programme please contact the school office for further details.
